I would prioritize Con, Per, Might-in that order. Play around with Constitution, Might, and Perception in the 15-ish range. Leave Intelligence at 10 (no bonuses, but no minuses either) Those points are served better in Constitution, which you'll need. Well, I've determined that the only way to make a 2 Handed/Heavy Armor/Chanter work is to dump Intellegence. None of these builds incorporate a 2 Handed Melee Weapon. You always get the same Min/Max BS-you either go Ranged or you go Tank and you never expect your weapon stuff to matter. You never find good adivce for things that are just fun to play. And the reason is because, as usual, you only ever get Min/Max crap. It SEEMS like there ought to be a way to make it work. I've been trying to play a Chanter who wears Heavy Armor and uses a 2 Handed Sword. It just does not perform.Īfter all this time, I think I understand why:
I try to make it the way I want to play it, and it always fails to live up to my expectations. But every single time I do, I always go back to Chanter.
I have rerolled so many times in this game, it's stupid. I don't know whether I love this class or I hate this class.
